The piece is looking at the notion of the Skinhead as a visual and a cultural
signifier; from National front, or, Gay fashion code, to women who had
their head shaved forcefully in Europe post WWII as a humiliating sign
that they slept with Nazis. Site specifically the piece looks at the shaving
of heads in the concentration camps during the holocaust. In terms of
Jewish history the 'skinhead' as a visual signifier follows from the Jewish
