Stories from the Market Place is made in a time in Australian politics and social unrest, where unfair treatment of refugees and widespread racism continues (sadly on a global scale too). The work acts as a reminder to the 'general public' that besides an irrational fear of difference currently perpetuated in this country, the fabric that our society is built on was made and influenced, past present and future, by a diverse ethnic and cross-cultural presence.
